So here goes, this is my **second** time ever, in the history of my blog that I’ll be posting fashion-related content, there’s a few reasons behind this. Firstly, my blog niche (in case you haven’t already noticed) is self-development and lifestyle, and secondly, I never really considered myself “fashionable” enough to make content like this.
However, over the summer I began my own personal style journey, after having spent most of my university life in jumpers and jeans (not that there’s anything wrong with that), and after having spent my year in work with blouses and trousers, I realised I wasn’t sure where I fitted in.
What was my style? I was always afraid of asking myself this question, since it seemed superficial and shallow.
Did it really matter what I looked like on the outside, if the inside was what counted?
To put it simply, yes, yes it does. I never realised how important fashion would become to me, it’s a reflection of who I am and the person I want to become, I want to dress confidently, to showcase my inner being to the world from pieces that inspire and excite me. Now, every time I step out of the house, I feel like I’m wearing a suit of armour that no one can penetrate because I’ve evolved into a person that I’m proud of and that I love.
Fashion is more than just mixing and matching clothes, fashion is a form of art, of self-expression where you showcase yourself without saying a word.
Autumn Outfits of the Week
Here I present to you five different outfits, all of which I’ve worn for an entire day so I can guarantee comfort whilst still looking fabulous.
