Right now it’s past 8pm and as I’m typing this I feel a huge sense of sorrow and sadness and what I’ve got to leave behind.
First off, I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies to the followers of the 30 day blogging challenge that I had started on the 2nd September 2019. Yesterday’s post which incidentally was day 20 is going to be the last day of this challenge.
This was an incredibly difficult decision to make I was going to try and sacrifice some of my personal time to get 10 more posts out in the next 10 days. But no matter how much I planned and pondered, it didn’t feel right. Today was my first day of my final year at university, this means modules, a final year project, a full-time job and many of my own personal commitments.
The last thing I wanted to do was to post sub-par content for an entire 10 days or to write under extreme amounts of stress and anxiety because I already know my brain won’t be able to function very much at all. Although I will not be completing the challenge I will be taking some of the prompts and be using them for future posts, this may happen once or twice a week, again depending on how I work out a schedule.
Despite this I will still be posting a round-up of everything I learnt through this challenge, including the benefits and drawbacks of daily blogging, differences in the statistics and the psychological effect it’s had on myself, the blogger. This will be coming out soon so keep your eyes peeled.
Lastly, I want to say a huge, huge thank you for everyone who’s supported me in this challenge, I am grateful for the lovely comments and conversations I’ve had on some of the topics, s well as the feedback I’ve received. If you have any feedback for me on any of the 20 days I posted, feel free to comment them down below.
Although this feels like goodbye, I will be back soon. Take care everyone!!
