The day has finally come where I’ve decided to pull everything I have together and blog every single day for an entire month. Just typing these words scare me, but there is a hint of excitement and nervousness deep down. So, just how did I decide I wanted to do this? Well, originally the plan was to blog for 7 days and report my findings, but I just never got around to doing this because of home renovations (someone please save my soul, it’s dusty) and summer stuff in general.
So here I am. Pushing myself beyond just so I can see what’s on the other side.
The first thing I did to plan for this was scour the internet, and by that, I mean Pinterest to find writing/blogging challenges. Through trial and error and days of searching I managed to find one, sadly it wasn’t watermarked and didn’t link to a blogger’s site, and since I didn’t want to claim someone else’s work as my own, I changed it up.
And here is the wonderful blueprint I created (on Canva) that will be the holy grail for the next month.
Day 01: Something that you’re looking forward to this year.
This year has definitely been life-changing for me, going through my own professional development, as an assistant clinical psychologist, as well as personally developing, and going on my own journey & self-discovery. Even though I’ve finished up my work in the psychology field, there’s so many opportunities ahead of me.
Starting at the end of September, I’ll be starting my final year at university, which means the dreaded dissertation (for psychology this is generally a research project involving huge amounts of data collection), as well as blogging for the careers & placements website for my university, and starting my job as a University Manager, conducting graduate market research. Saying that I have my work cut out for me is a huge understatement. But all in all, this will take me to new levels of work and open up my eyes to the world around me, and for that I couldn’t be more excited.
What are you looking forward to this year??
