We finally reached the end of another month, it’s getting a little more scary each time I realise how close 2020 is. As a child, I never imagined being where I am now, with the relationships I’m in and the support network that I’m surrounded by. I can’t express how grateful I am to each and every one of you too, my heart truly feels full.
This month was definitely the busiest by far (as the summer itself goes), we had plenty of family/friends weddings happening, which was a great excuse for me to dress up and catch up with family that I hadn’t seen in a while. I went out of town and stayed overnight in a beautiful scenic city, met with friends and actually managed to go cafe hopping (a personal experience I wanted to have).
On the more academic/university side of things, I got my 8 module choices back, 7 of which where the ones I had selected so only one ended up being one I hadn’t selected. I also got my chosen supervisor and some topic ideas for my final year project, despite my anxieties it all seems to be coming together. I’m glad the summer is coming to an end, here’s to a new season full of cosy sweaters, scented candles and most of all, peace and gratitude.
This month, (and now I mean September) I wanted to do an experiment on my blog. In the past I’ve posted a couple of days in a row, but this usually dies down around day 4, of course, there’s no denying that we all prefer quality over quantity, so daily blogging isn’t always recommended. Except, when I do blog consistently daily I sometimes see results. It doesn’t end up looking like a linear graph with more views/visitors every day but there’s usually a pattern emerging.
So, after that introduction, I want to announce that I’ll be blogging everyday for a month, this could be great or not so great, but at the end of the day it’ll be a learning experience and I’ll be talking about the lessons I’ve learnt. Who knows, perhaps some new blogging tips will emerge.
To make my life easier, I’ve edited a pre-made list that I found on Pinterest and added in a different post everyday for the days that were marked as hiatus. To anyone who wants to try this challenge I’ll be posting the list tomorrow which will officially mark the first day of this experiment. Also, some advice, if you want to try posting consistently and actually sticking to it, I would recommend planning out content in advance, even if it’s just a few bullet points or a general theme/point you want to get across.
