6 Things To Come To Terms With

Image result for quotes about appreciating life

I find it beautiful yet equally strange that everyone on this earth leads a life of their own, there’s so many differences, so many individualistic lifestyles and experiences that it’s hard to quantify. Every single moment is experienced across the world in a million different ways, how crazy is that? It does make me wish I could live all these different lives, perhaps I already am in all the parallel universes.

Despite our vast differences, there are some life experiences we all share, whether it’s heartbreak, love, loss, rejection, failure, pure and utter happiness. They may be caused by different things but we all share the capacity to feel, unless you’re a psychopath, then maybe not. But you get the point. And so I believe that there are many things we must all come to terms with in our lifetimes, whether you’re a teen or in old age, these things will make a difference in your life.

Things to Come To Terms With

Though it’s ingrained our culture to be self-depreciating, to complain, constantly wondering if things will get better and they must get better, because else we won’t be able to live any longer, complaining itself is just overrated. If you always adopt a negative attitude then life will always seems boring and mundane.

Everyone is different, some people are good and others, well they’re not so good, of course everyone has a mixture of both inside them, a sort of ying and yang, if you will. But if you do come across a person who is cruel and mean, then know that they need love, extra love that perhaps no-one showed them before. So remember, always be kind.

Despite the vastness of human life, no one has it perfect, no one lives a perfect life. Yes, things may seem fine on the outside but whatever happens behind closed is something that you’re not a part of. Be considerate, even if people don’t ask for help they may need a hand, be observant.

The smallest actions can make someday’s day or even life,. Say thank you, be polite, pay compliments, smile at strangers, you never know how the smallest gestures can have the biggest consequences.

Believe in yourself, you are filled with unlimited potential, there are so many things that you’re capable of, if you just believe. Do things that make you happy, that you enjoy, take care of yourself, there’s no weakness in that. Keeping yourself happy and well is key, you cannot be helping others if you don’t help yourself, so take care of you, you deserve it.

Appreciate the world, nature, people, animals, the way the sea moves in and out of the shore, the way the sun sneaks it way through curtains leaving a bright stream of light on walls and floors. There is nothing too small to appreciate, or even too big, so many people are blind to it because they fail to open their eyes and see, don’t be one of those people.

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”
