And again I have to say, full of absolute surprise and shock, how is it even possible for me to be nominated for another award?! I’m incredibly grateful and not gonna lie my ego does get a lift every now and again, which is great. Sadly, I’ve lost count and can’t say what number this is,
maybe 6/7/8 but I don’t have a clue.
The absolutely wonderful person who nominated me is the brains behind the wonderful site AnonymouslyAfroIrish who has the most wonderful creative writing and I love reading the experiences which are so vivid and full of emotion, definitely, this blog is worth a follow and read!!
The rules for the Real Neat Blogger Award:
- Put the award logo on your blog.
- Thank the people who nominated you, linking to their blogs.
- Answer the 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you.
- Nominate any number of bloggers you like, linking to their blogs.
- Let them know you nominated them (by commenting on their blogs, etc.)
- Do you feel you have come a long way since you started?
I’ve come a seriously long way, to the point of where I’ve completely changed as a person, for the better and I can’t wait to post more this!!
- What is the craziest conversation you have ever overheard?
Sadly I’ve never heard a conversation crazy enough like almost everyone has on Tumblr/other social media, so I don’t count myself as being that lucky. But I did hear a strange conversation yesterday about the gym and a bad breakup so perhaps that makes up for it?!
- Is there a moment in life that defined who you are today? If so, what?
There are so many defining moments in my life, I can’t really pick one, but a most recent one would be my counselling sessions which I’ve spoken more about in my new Unfiltered Series. The reason being that, I’ve been able to overcome a lot of my own obstacles that are my emotions and have found much better ways of dealing with bad days, to the point where a positive impact has now been spread to many other areas of my life.
- What would you tell your 10-year-old self about the world?
That the world is a scary place, but chin up because you’re an amazing person with wonderful qualities, you will find friends for life and people will recognise your worth, but before all this, you’ll have to go through the worst days of your life. It’ll be worth it, you’ll see 🙂
- What is your pet peeve?
People who think they’re superior to everyone else, please stop you look like a fool and everyone can see through you.
- The hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
Let go of a friendship where I was unhealthily attached to the other person, and the effects this had on me in the following years.
- Dogs or Cats?
I’m incredibly biased so you’ll have to excuse that I have a pet cat of my own who’s tri-coloured and absolutely gorgeous, so cats for the win!!
Since I’ve done quite a few of these in the past, I’m opening this up to anyone who reads this post, if you do drop a comment below and tell me how your day’s been going so far?
